Hannah's interest in dance began at age four and she has been dancing ever since! Her studio dance training includes classical ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and modern dance. A few of Hannah's favorite studio memories are being able to perform classical pointe to "Copelia," "Giselle, "Sleeping Beauty," and "The Nutcracker."

After high school graduation, Hannah joined Focus Dance Company and performed classical ballet, pointe, and lyrical in the show "Lost and Found" at the Southern Theater during the MN Fringe Festival. Hannah attended Saint Cloud State University for dance studies under the direction of Debra Leigh and Jeffery Bleam. At SCSU, she studied ballet, modern, jazz, tap, musical theater, and hip hop. Hannah also had the opportunity as a freshman to dance with SCSU's Repertory Dance Theater performing in the show " Desperate Acts" to a Justin Jones modern piece entitled "Guided Muscle" and two Catie Hill musical theater pieces entitled "Cake" and "The Color Purple." She also studied general education at Anoka Ramsey Community College and Northwestern College. After college, she joined a professional modern and jazz company called "The Minnesota Dance Ensemble" where she performed at the Paramount Theater in Saint Cloud in the production of "I Want My MTV."

Aside from dancing and teaching, she also is a certified Personal Care Assistant for clients with special needs. She was married in June 2012 to her husband, Dan, and is enjoying her married life and spending time with her two kids, Lennon & Louis.  Hannah has always had a passion for teaching children, teens, and adults how to dance and is excited to be on staff at JDC for the upcoming season, where she will be teaching and choreographing for both recreational and competition classes. It is Hannah's goal to give each of her students a fun, safe, and positive learning experience and hopes her students find joy and passion to dance.
